As women become more active, their feet are becoming
more muscular and therefore, wider. Unlike typical
“fashion” shoes, Tara’s first consideration is comfort. Tara designs its shoes on lasts that are modeled on a foot that
is wider than normal through the metatarsal area and
normal width at the heel. This “Tarafit” last accommodates
any width foot from AA-D.

Tara Shoes are deeply padded on the entire sole and are
fully lined with natural leather to absorb moisture. Many
styles include an additional layer of cork in the sole to
further cushion the foot.
